Acceptable Use Policy

Acceptable Use

  • Technical equipment, including computers, mobile devices, and network resources, should be used for authorized business purposes only.
  • Users must adhere to all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
  • Users are responsible for safeguarding the security and confidentiality of any data accessed or stored on the equipment.

Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

  • Installation or use of unauthorized software or applications.
  • Engaging in any form of cyber attack or malicious activity.
  • Use of equipment for personal gain or non-business-related activities.
  • Distribution of offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate content.
  • Use of peer-to-peer file sharing or torrenting services.

This list is not all-encompassing; other activities that jeopardize the security and integrity of the company’s resources may also be deemed prohibited.

Security Measures

  • Users must comply with all security protocols and procedures established by Thacker Broadcasting.
  • Technical equipment must be kept secure and protected from unauthorized access.
  • Users must promptly report any security incidents or breaches to the appropriate IT personnel.

Consequences of Violations

  • Violations of this policy may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
  • Legal action may be taken in accordance with local, state, and federal laws.
